Public Auction still the best way to sell land! - Land Sales still very buoyant in Mid Wales!

Sunderlands are pleased to report a recent run of successful land sales in Mid Wales. The Public Auction of 60.05 acres of land, in two lots, known as Felinfach meadows generated very strong interest leading up to the auction, which was then reflected in the eventual sale figures realised. The guide price of £10,000/acre was smashed with the first lot of 43.66 acres sailing to £550,000, an incredible £12,600/acre. Both lots collectively averaged over £12,000/acre. Auctioneer Matthew Nicholls commented:

This is the first Public Auction of land to take place in this area since prior to the Covid-19 outbreak. Tonight’s successful sale proves once again that Public Auction is still one of the best, if not the best method of sale. It offers an open, transparent and competitive method of sale. We are very pleased that after nearly two years of restrictions that we can now hold these very important auctions and return to some normality

Up until now and due to Covid restrictions, Sunderlands have been conducting all of their land sales by Private Treaty or by Tender. Sunderlands can report some very successful sales of land in the Mid Wales area to include the sale of 62.07 acres of land known as Pentrebach Lands, Llanafan, Builth Wells.
