Katherine Gunter

Katherine joined Sunderlands in 2025 after graduating from Harper Adams University, where she studied Rural Enterprise and Land Management. During her placement year she worked for a regional firm based in the southwest, where she conducted a range of professional work including; farm agency, planning applications and rural grant applications as well as working in the livestock market with the store cattle.

 Outside of work, Katherine is heavily involved in her family's mixed livestock farm in the Wye Valley, where she also breeds Pedigree Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, which she takes to local shows. She is also a keen member of Welsh Newton Young Farmers Club and in her spare time enjoys horse racing and exploring the countryside with her border collie Annie.
