Gareth Wall

Gareth is a rural practice chartered surveyor, registered valuer, agricultural consultant and auctioneer working in the West Midland and Wales region.

He has a portfolio of professional qualifications and 28 years of experience in all facets of land and estate management, landlord and tenant advice, expert witness, valuation, farm business advice, planning, general rural professional work, farm, land, property, livestock and dispersal sales.

Gareth graduated from the Royal Agricultural University at Cirencester in Agriculture and Farm Management. He went on to achieve a Postgraduate Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management at Reading University and was awarded the Talbot Ponsonby prize for attaining the highest marks Nationally in the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) fellowship exams. 

Gareth holds several appointments and is a member of the Agricultural Land and Drainage Tribunal for England and the Agricultural Lands Tribunal for Wales. He is also a member of the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) Independent Agricultural Appeals Panel, a Recommended Professional for the Tenant Farmers Association (TFA), Vice Chairman of the Livestock Auctioneers Association (LAA) and Examiner for the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.

Born and brought up on his family’s beef, sheep and arable farm near Bishops Castle, Shropshire, Gareth has a lifetime of experience and knowledge within the regions rural sectors, from both a professional and hands on perspective.
