This is a very individual home offering comfortable accommodation and retaining many of the original period features, of particular note are the arches, of medieval origin, found in the front porch and the hall. The historic, medieval church of St Ellwy lies opposite the Court and is much visited by tourists.


The property is about 2 miles from Talgarth, a historic market town situated at the foot of The Black Mountains set in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Talgarth offers a good range of facilities to include the Co-op supermarket, primary school, newsagent, several cafés, butcher, car repairs garage and a medical centre. The Old Mill has recently been refurbished and is a very popular tourist attraction all year around. Talgarth car park is free. The Black Mountains Gliding Club lies about 2 miles south of Llanelieu.
The larger towns of Hay-on-Wye, approx 7 miles and Brecon, approx 9 miles offer a more comprehensive range of services and facilities.


On the ground floor there is the excellent medieval origin entrance hall with the aforementioned archways giving access into the dining room with a Clearview wood burner and windows to the side, a second door also leads through into the exceptionally large farmhouse kitchen which has windows overlooking the garden. The kitchen is fitted with drawer and cupboard storage. An oil-fired "Aga" supplies constant hot water. There are cooker and dishwasher power points.

The large utility/boot room, which includes a w.c., leads from the kitchen through to the back door and outside to steps leading up to a patio garden, on the roadside of the house. It is fully gated.

There is access to the garden and paddock from this side of the house and to a bunded oil tank (capacity approx 900 litres). The garden room is accessed via the main kitchen and leads out onto a wooden bridge over the stream and then up stone steps to the acre of land, where it offers a very pleasant view of the back of the house and easy access for picnics within the garden.


To the front of the property there is a large area of patio leading to the back door with an arrangement of established shrubs and plants. The garden at the rear is mainly formed as a terrace at the back of the property with a bridge leading over the stream, which runs alongside the house and forms a very attractive feature.

Across the bridge there is a bank leading up to two enclosures, totalling approximately 1 acre and lies to the south of the property. This area is well fenced and has a lovely view towards the property itself.
