Situated within the heart of the Wye Valley Glynheddwch is a delightful Grade II listed former vicarage built in approximately 1886. The architect is unknown however it is believed to have been built under the influence of William Nesfield who also designed Gwernyfed Park in the neighbouring village of Three Cocks. The original house is said to have been designed in the domestic revival style of brickwork, tiled roofs with large arch brick chimneys with decorative hanging tiles and lead mullion windows. The property is now in poor condition and would benefit from total modernisation and restoration.

Further facilities can be found in nearby Hay-on-Wye which is known for its annual literary festival. The Brecon Beacons National Park is found close by with a wide range of recreational activities and the River Wye offers fishing, canoeing and beautiful scenery. Further afield is Brecon 12 miles and Hereford 25 miles.

The house offers exceptional charm and character with many original features retained with considerable potential for restoration and improvement.

The property is accessed off the main highway, through a brick pillar entrance, into a sweeping driveway leading to the front of the house. There is an expansive lawn to the front, a further sunken lawn which is level and leads to the rear gardens. To the north-west of the house there is a former kitchen garden with the remains of a greenhouse, vegetables beds and fruit trees. Overall the gardens and grounds extend to 3.37 acres.
