***************** SOLD AT AUCTION FOR £360,000 *******************

FOR SALE BY PUBLIC AUCTION on Thursday 19th July 2018 at 6pm at The Green Man, Fownhope, Hereford. HR1 4PE.

Nash Farmhouse is a derelict detached farmhouse together with a range of traditional outbuildings and approximately 10.6 acres of land surrounding it. The farmhouse itself was Listed in 1966 under English Heritage Building ID 154874 and is described as a late 18th/early 19th century farmhouse of sandstone, rubble and brick under a hip slate roof. You will notice that the main house was of three storeys with a two storey service wing, however, much of this has now collapsed. There are currently two rooms and an entrance hall on the ground floor of the service wing. When viewing particular care must be taken as the structure is not of a secure nature.

In addition to the principal dwelling, the property also has the benefit of a substantial roadside barn together with the footprint of other traditional buildings, all of which are contained within the Listing.

Nash Farm was clearly a property of considerable character, which has been allowed to fall into a state of disrepair however it is an excellent restoration project in a superb location surrounded by its own ground which affords it peace and privacy.

Nash Farm is situated on the south west fringe of the popular village of Fownhope, in an elevated location with far reaching views.
