Particulars

We are instructed to offer this excellent block of arable land for potatoes for the 2018 Season. The land is all in good heart, is classified MAFF Grade 2. The Land benefits from good access. Certified seed only should be planted on the land.

Basic Payment Scheme

It is proposed that an equivalent area of Basic Payment Scheme entitlements will be leased to the Tenant for 2018 with the Tenant refunding to the Landlord such funds that are received in relation to the use of those rights.

Countryside Stewardship

The Land is not in any Countryside Stewardship Scheme an all margins can be ploughed.

Other Terms

The Tenant must comply with the normal Cross Compliance requirements and the standard terms of the Farm Business Tenancy.

Letting Period

From the 15th March 2018 to the 7th October 2018.

Payment

10% on signing, 45% on the 15th March 2018 and 45% on the 1st September 2018 or the date of lifting if earlier.

The Land comprises NGP Number 6554 - 7.09 net.

Previous Cropping

The Land has been in a combination of cereals (wheat or barley) and fodder beet since 2012.
