That while we will try to keep our rules as accurate as possible across all languages currently available on our site, there will be occassions where some rules may be misinterpretted because of translation.

Prevention of Money Laundering Regulations
Statement of Policy
We are aware of all of the responsibilities that operating an online betting and gaming business brings in this modern age. Prevention of money laundering legislation has been brought in around the world to ensure that individuals and companies alike are protected from proceeds of illegal activity.
We are constantly reviewing internal procedures, and customers will be notified of any changes by way of a general email from time to time.
We have endeavoured to make such policy as practical as possible, while complying in Malta with the PREVENTION OF MONEY LAUNDERING AND FUNDING OF TERRORISM REGULATIONS of 12 August 2003 (as amended by Legal Notice 42 of 2006).
1. Registration
Under no circumstances will an account be accepted from an anonymous source. All clients must complete the registration form on our "Join now" section prior to being allowed to make a deposit.
2. Payment Partners
We have chosen Metacharge.com as our payment partner. Metacharge operate an active fraud protection which includes:

Furthermore, we utilise the database of leading customer information services to verify address and age.
3. Customer Deposits
We will allow more than one credit card to be stored at any one time. However, if a client wishes to deposit using an alternate card, they have to withdraw any available funds back to their original means of deposit. You have several options for making a deposit with us, but please note that cash will be NOT be accepted by post or in person when opening an account or when making deposits into an existing account.
We currently accepts Credit Card deposits in GBP, USD, and EUR, which can only be made online.
Customers will be only be debited money when their requested amount has been approved by our online payment solution provider. This will normally take less than 30 seconds from clicking the confirm button. If you are experiencing difficulties please contact customer services at u2us@sunderlands.eu
We accept credit card transactions from the following areas and geographical zones: UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Customers from other areas who wish to deposit can do so via bank transfers, cheques, or NETeller details of which can be found in our banking section.
4. Customer Withdrawal
Prior to making a first withdrawal, customers are required to provide an item from one of each of the categories below to enable us to confirm both your identity and your address. It is important to note that only a ‘clear and legible’ copy will be accepted by fax, scanned email or post.
Documentation Required For Verification of Identity. One of the following:
- Current valid full passport
- National identity card
- Armed forces identity card
- Known employer identity card which bears a photograph and is pre-signed
- Full driving licence which bears a photograph and is pre-signed

- Recent utility Bill (e.g. Gas, Telephone) preferably less than three months old.
N.B. Mobile Phone bills are not acceptable.

5. Right to Report Suspicious Activity
In the event of suspicion being raised by either our payment providers, or a member of staff, we reserve the right to immediately suspend an account. Should suspicions be unfounded, funds will be returned immediately as detailed in section four.
We are obliged to refer suspicious activity or suspicious transactions to the Malta Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit via the Lotteries and Gaming Authority
We are a licensee of the Verisign Privacy Program. To open your betting account, we must obtain certain personal information, such as name, address, email or phone number as well as demographic information like age. For certain optional transactions, we also collect selected financial information such as credit card details. For certain high dollar transactions, we are legally required to report some personally identifiable information to the authorities. For verification purposes we reserve the right to request proof of identification in an offline format. Your IP address and access times are tracked against your user id for the dual purposes of preventing fraud and creating an audit trail when placing a wager, or logging onto our secure server.
We only use your personal information to service your account and to improve our services to you. However, we do share some credit information as part of normal business operations with banks or credit card processing and verification services. The following details some important information in relation to the depositing and withdrawal of funds:
- Your payment card will be debited immediately on completion of the transaction.
- We would strongly advise that all transactional data should be printed out and kept in an easily accessible place for your reference at any time.
- All transactions will appear on your card statements as Sunderlands International.
- All bets will be considered 'on' once the transaction has been accepted and a ticket number is issued - please note that once bets are placed and confirmed they can not be cancelled.
In the event of a race or event being deemed 'void' due to a non runner or an abandoned event, customer stakes will be returned to their betting account and will then be available for further wagers or for refund.
